Trent & Sandy Hooper, owners of Hooper Construction in Collbran Colorado, are this month's Plateau Valley.com Post Community Spirit Winners. Like many small business owners in the PV, Trent is extremely conscientious about doing a good job. And he exemplifies the "when there's a will, there's a way" point of view. Sandy is certainly the same in her profession in the medical field.
Jut one story shared with us about Trent, and we hope we repeat it correctly, is that when "the energy boom came to town" it was very difficult for the local truckers and operators to get contracts with the energy companies. Trent stepped up and, through many classes and meetings and mounds of paperwork and endless red tape, was able to bring these two groups together to benefit numerous families in PV.
We especially appreciate that whenever you see Trent & Sandy, they're happy, friendly, and glad to visit with you.
